Acupuncture treatments will often employ the use of Moxa, Tui Na, Gua Sha, and Cupping when needed. Each appointment is specifically tailored to the individual, their health goals, and is directed by the information gathered through the pulses, tongue presentation, and health questionnaire.
Initial Visits are 90 minutes and include a thorough discussion of health concerns and history, Chinese Medical Diagnosis, and a treatment.
Follow Up Visits are 60-75 minutes and include a check in on treatment progress and a treatment.

Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture
Cosmetic Acupuncture is a relatively non-invasive procedure that brings some amazing results that are more than skin deep. Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture offer a holistic approach to looking and feeling younger because in addition to treating the face, neck, or abdomen, we are addressing the imbalances that the patient is presenting.
The Facial Cosmetic Acupuncture protocol involves 10 treatments, 2 times a week for 5 weeks. Each treatment takes 60-75 minutes to look younger and feel healthier. Common results include softer, firmer skin, and a reduction of wrinkles. Side effects can include: overall sense of well being, improved digestion, better quality sleep, reduction of hot flashes, elimination of mild depression, and improved energy.

Follow up appointments are needed to check in and see how the patient is progressing with the formula and for the practitioner to make modifications to the formula as needed. Herbal follow ups are 30 minutes.
